About Birch Trees
Birch Trees are refreshingly tall, snow white, and has been nicknamed “the queen of the forest” due to their romantic images of unspoiled mountain streams and wintry nights. Their white skin, which can be preserved for over a thousand years, sheds into more than ten thinner layers that can be repurposed as “paper” in the old ages. Its roots, sap, and even the mushrooms living off these trees were commonly used for medical purposes.
In the spring, before the leaves have sprouted, Birch tree sap is harvested with a small hole, bleeding its “white sap” that has a slightly sweet flavor and is rich with NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor, a cocktail of ingredients that the skin naturally creates to keep the stratum corneum hydrated. These include Amino Acids, Lactic Acid, Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (PCA), and Hyaluronic Acid).

Best sunscreen ever
I usually fear the breakouts when I wear sunscreen. NOT ANYMORE! My skin literally looks SO good after wearing this that it actually makes me want to wear it every day. Took it to Maui with a UVI of 11 and it kept me protected!
Favorite sunscreen
This is my second tube and i love hoe light weight it feels
Too Much Whitecast
I got this because i loved the 45+ SPF and thought the extra coverage would be but the different formula left my skin feeling dry and the whitecast was unmistakable.
Birch Is My Bestie
I absolutely love the birch line so I was wondering about what the SPFs in this line would be like! Upon first application it is silky and got myself blends in seamlessly. I love the tone-up of this SPF as it helps negate my redness and doesn’t sting or burn my eyes! All and all I adore this SPF! It isn’t drying at all for my skin (sensitive) but I also apply moisturizer before using this sunscreen. I would definitely recommend!
Very soothing sunscreen
The sunscreen feels good on the skin and protected me from any sunburn during a very sunny beach vacation.
White cast fades fast
I tried the original formula awhile ago and decided to buy more and to try this version. Its more mattiying which i like. Goes on very smooth. The white cast made me panic at first but it goes away very quickly so you dont have to work it into your skin longer compared to other white cast sunscreens. Would recommend this and the original!
not as good as the original!
I love the original Birch sunscreen but wanted to try this one because it was made for mild skin. It didn’t go on as smoothly and it leaves a terrible white cast that you really have the rub in.
Feels Thick and Leaves a White-ish Film
Love the regular sunscreen, but don't think I would use this one again. It's a solid product when you compare with other company's sunscreens; however, not the best when it comes to round lab's portfolio of products.
Prefer the non tint-up version
The white cast doesn't blend super well, and creates noticeable streaks
I like this if I’m wearing makeup because it does have a white cast.
